Rear Window

The movies in a shop window. Very Italian

Pastels and Pluto

This street artist was creating universe vistas in front of a live audience. Thank goodness I don't have to storyboard that way.

A visual/musical Transaction

He played for me, I drew him. I'd like to try and catch more buskers for one thing they keep still and you get a musical accompaniment that perhaps even flavors the sketch. In this case, because of the language barrier, the moment seemed even sweeter. He is probably playing his guitar by the bridge right now as I type.

Well, I wouldn't say expert . . .

A few months ago I visited my old infant and junior schools. I took with me a bunch of storyboards and gave Gromit and Shaun a trip out of the studio. The pupils were thrilled, and I was so happy to visit. I still remember drawing a picture of "The Wizard of Oz" decades ago, in the classroom seen in this photo. I even worked on that thing thru lunchtimes, I must have anticipated future deadlines!

Life Drawing

Haven't been able to make my life drawing classes recently, which is annoying. At the last one the life model complimented on my drawing of her. I was caught off guard to say the least and said something like "whawellIerm . . . thanks"
